5Fear not, my people! Remember, Israel, 6You
were sold to the nations not for your destruction; It was because you angered
God that you were handed over to your foes. 7For you provoked your Maker with
sacrifices to demons, to no-gods; 8You forsook the Eternal God who nourished
you, and you grieved Jerusalem who fostered you.
9She indeed saw coming upon you the anger of God; and she
said: "Hear, you neighbors of Zion! God has brought great mourning upon
me, 10For I have seen the captivity
that the Eternal God has brought upon my sons and daughters.
11With joy I fostered them; but with
mourning and lament I let them go. 12Let no one gloat over me, a widow, bereft
of many: For the sins of my children I am left desolate, because they turned
from the law of God.
27Fear not, my children;
call out to God! He who brought this upon you will remember you. 28As your
hearts have been disposed to stray from God, turn now ten times the more to
seek him; 29 For he who has brought disaster upon you will, in saving you,
bring you back enduring joy."
33“See, you lowly ones, and be glad; you who seek God, take
heart!s 34For the LORD hears the poor,
and does not spurn those in bondage.
35Let the heaven and the earth praise him, the seas and whatever moves in them!” 36For God will rescue Zion, and rebuild the cities of Judah. tThey will dwell there and possess it; 37the descendants of God’s servants will inherit it; those who love God’s name will dwell in it.u

17The seventy (-two) returned rejoicing, and said,
"Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name." 18Jesus said, "I have observed Satan
fall like lightning from the sky. 19Behold,
I have given you the power 'to tread upon serpents' and scorpions and upon the
full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.
20Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
21 At that very moment He rejoiced (in) the holy Spirit and said, "I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been gracious will.

22All things have been handed over
to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the
Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him."
23Turning to the
disciples in private He said, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24For I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but
did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it."
Notes
on the Gospel:
A). Verse 17 - Seventy[-two]: significantt representatives of the Alexandrian and Caesarean text
types read "seventy," while other significant Alexandrian texts and
Western readings have "seventy-two."
B). Verse 18 I have observed Satan fall like lightning: the effect of the mission of the seventy-two is described by the Lucan Jesus as a figurative fall of Satan. As God’s kingdom is progressively instituted, dominion of Satan through evil in all its forms is crushed.

Dear Humanity,
I personally encourage everyone to emulate JESUS' values on LOVE, FAITH, HOPE
and CHARITY, as the humanity has been a failure; which resulted to the more than two (2) years of pandemic and its after-effects on economy, not only here in the Philippines but worldwide.
And the saddest part of it, is that, it affected the POOREST of the POOR to even extremely be more poorer, in exchange of the affluent to be more richer.
Thank you and may GOD bless you and the whole family to have an enjoyed life's journey at home, Church, schools/universities, corporate commitments, public and places of interest.
